    Bailey wins GOP gubernatorial primary, will face Pritzker in 2022 rematch

    Former State Senator and 2022 gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey is set to face Gov. JB Pritzker in the November midterm.  

    It will be a rematch between the two-term governor and the Xenia -native. The two faced off in 2022, a race that ended with Pritzker winning his reelection with just under 55 percent of the vote.
