Mayor Lori Lightfoot addressed the Chicago Investors Conference for the first time Friday — but much of her address about the city’s budget woes was targeted to state lawmakers whom she hopes will help her stop the flow of red ink.

Lightfoot once again called for a “statewide solution for pension reform,” without offering specifics.
