• Aldermen on Wednesday recommended to approve a collective bargaining agreement between the city of Chicago and the labor union that represents police supervisors  largely on the grounds that it provides a blueprint for the upcoming negotiations between the city and the Fraternal Order of Police, which represents rank-and-file officers.
