Ald. Daniel La Spata (1) tweeted a link to his aldermanic policy page and wrote “I am busy working on the City's American Rescue Plan funding, as well as a number of other policy areas at City Council. Help us spend $1.8 billion in relief! You can learn more at our Policy Website, which was recently updated.” 

Ald. Pat Dowell (3) in her latest newsletter shared information about a South Loop Community Meeting she is hosting at 6 p.m. Monday to discuss a proposed development for 1400 S. Wabash Ave. 

Ald. Gilbert Villegas (36) tweeted photos from the opening of his new ward office.  

Ald. Andre Vasquez (40) shared a Tribune article about Lollapalooza and COVID-19 and wrote “I’ll ask again. Lollapalooza + COVID Variant Spread = ?” 

Ald. Tom Tunney (44) in his latest newsletter wrote “Once again, I am excited to announce more public art in the 44th Ward. Thanks to SSA #27, the Lakeview Public Art Committee and the Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce, we have new art along the CTA Low-Line.” 

Ald. James Cappleman (46) in his latest newsletter wrote “Only 52% of Chicagoans are currently vaccinated, and we need to get that number as close to 100% as possible for us to fully put COVID behind us.” 

Ald. Harry Osterman (48) in his latest newsletter wrote “This weekend Bryn Mawr Ave. will be closed between Broadway and Winthrop to allow crews to begin demolition on the viaduct. This will be an ongoing closure beginning tomorrow, Friday, July 30, 8pm, through Monday, August 2, 5am. This closure will also impact sidewalks.”
