Yes [the Chicago Police Department] has its share but so does [Streets and Sanitation], [the Chicago Water Department] & [Chicago Department of Transportation] for motor vehicle accidents & damage to private party. Andre Vasquez (40) retweeted a statement on the agreement between Mayor Lori Lightfoot and the Empowering Communities for Public Safety coalition on an ordinance for civilian oversight of the Chicago Police Department and wrote “It took much work and negotiation, but where we have landed is thoughtful, transformative, and does much to improve public safety through policy at the hands of the people.”
