Ald. Roderick Sawyer (6) tweeted “During November, we should all remember the great works and untimely death of our 1st Black Mayor, Harold Washington. This tie just jumped out at me this morning and I thought I would honor him and wear it at Council today.” 

Ald. Raymond Lopez (15) tweeted “Today I am introducing changes to the @ChicagoCOPA enabling ordinance requiring: 1) the dept to use @ILStatePolice investigatory standards; and 2) prevent the Chief Administrator from issuing decisions posthumously, as they did against Officer Ella French.”
