Support our teachers and staff in their efforts to have fully funded schools for all of our students!”
Ald. Andre Vasquez (40) tweeted, “Happy Birthday to the late Harvey Milk, who taught us all so much about organizing, LGBTQ justice, public service and about governing. Ald. Matt Martin (47) wrote in his latest newsletter that he voted against the mayor’s ordinance to move forward a curfew for minors. “Going forward, City government must focus on evidenced-based efforts like enforcing the recently passed ban on ghost guns, standing up our city's summer youth employment program, and expanding the reach of community-based violence prevention organizations,” he wrote.
