Ward Reports March 28, 2023
Ald. David Moore (17) said on Facebook "The Black Caucus Leadership and behind the door dealings are hurting the black community. When organizing the City Council it is to be done with the new City Council taking a vote on the members that they want on the committees. People are behind closed doors weakening the power of the Black Caucus for their on self interest and trampling on democracy. Before I accept it, I will blow it up."
Ald. Nicole Lee (11) tweeted "It was an honor to see the Ramova Theatre coming back to life during my visit to the project site! This iconic space will not only be an economic catalyst for the Halsted Street Corridor, but will also be an attraction for the entire city of Chicago. #11thWardCHI"
Ald. Timmy Knudsen (43) tweeted "David Orr has made our government work better for all of our residents, and I’m grateful that he believes in the independent approach I’m taking as alderman."
Ald. Debra Silverstein (50) tweeted "All Jefferson Township property owners are invited to a Property Tax Appeal Wokshop tomorrow (March 28) at 6 PM at Sulzer Regional Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave. Following a brief presentation, analysts will be available to answer your questions. With @CCBORD2Steele."
