Celebratory, symbolic, and not filled with the vitriol that we witnessed today. As a black man I know first hand the divestment we have endured on the south and west side of the city. But to quote my colleague, "hurt people don't hurt people". It's incumbent upon us to help those in need. It's equally as important to hold this administration responsible for uplifting the African-American community. I truly believe we can do both."
