Ald. Debra Silverstein (50) tweeted “The 24th District Police announced today the arrest of 4 individuals in the neighboring 40th Ward suspected of committing multiple armed robberies across the city. All 4 suspects were charged with multiple felonies.”

Ald. Tom Tunney (44) quoted a Sun-Times article about the City Council’s approval of a new transit TIF to fund the Red Line extension south and tweeted “This is an important investment in expanding transit and access to jobs in Chicago!” 

Ald. Harry Osterman (48) tweeted “I am proud today to support legislation to begin the extension of the Red Line to the far South Side. This critical project will provide equitable transportation options to Far South Side residents.”

Ald. Raymond Lopez (15) tweeted “Today my colleagues and I introduced an order to prevent City of Chicago departments and employees from using TikTok for official work in city-owned devices because of the national security risk this company poses.”

Ald. Daniel La Spata (1) tweeted “Today at City Council, I proposed a resolution to serve as Chair for the Committee on Environmental Protection and Energy. Chicagoans deserve a city where they can thrive, and it is beyond time to address our climate emergency as one part of achieving that goal.”
