Des Plaines-based Rivers Casino is alleging the state gaming board is planning to allow sports betting companies into Illinois’ fledgling sports wagering market, violating the 18-month waiting period those companies are subject to under the state’s expanded gambling law.
: Rivers Casino in Des Plaines opened its sports betting operation in early March, shortly before Covid-19 shut down gaming statewide.
