Gov. JB Pritzker signed three bills Wednesday that aim to improve support for service members and veterans in Illinois.

Independent gubernatorial candidate Collin Corbett will officially appear on the November ballot after the Illinois State Board of Elections voted to accept the withdrawal of a challenge to his petition Tuesday.
The board also voted to remove seven independent and new party candidates running for myriad offices from the ballot and accepted two candidacy withdrawals.
