The Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association will host a hiring event at Swissotel from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the group announced. The event “will feature opportunities for entry, mid, and senior level workers throughout the industry.”

The Metropolitan Planning Council announced that it will hold its Annual Event virtually this year at 12 p.m. on Sept. 21. The event “will spotlight innovators guiding transformative, equitable, community-centered recovery,” including Vistria Group CEO Martin Nesbitt, according to an event description. Online registration is required.
