    The City Council on Wednesday could give final approval to hundreds of millions of tax increment financing (TIF) dollars to assist with the infrastructure around the new Chicago Fire soccer stadium development in the South Loop, an ordinance clarifying that city employees may not place bets on sites like Kalshi or Polymarket using proprietary information and the appointment of a new health commissioner.

    The council will meet at 10 a.m.
