The City Council Committee on Ethics and Government Oversight on Tuesday approved the majority of the mayoral appointments to a task force created under recent legislation that both instituted and called for recommendations for policies to safeguard and improve access to the ballot box and protect rank-and-file election workers from targeted harassment.
