Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced on Thursday that she and a delegation of 34 city officials and business leaders will travel to Mexico City from Sept. 28 to Oct. 2 to reaffirm Chicago’s partnership with Mexico City as a sister city and promote Chicago’s economy. During the trip, Lightfoot will meet with business leaders and city officials to discuss economic recovery and inclusive economic development, according to a news release from Lightfoot’s office.
