Mayor Brandon Johnson and the city's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) Thursday for the Good Food Fund and the Early-Stage Food Incubator Programs, according to a news release from Johnson's office. The programs are meant to support food entrepreneurs in Chicago communities facing inequitable access to food and where the COVID-19 pandemic heightened the disparities, according to the news release.
