The level of spread of COVID-19 remains in the “Low Community Level” in Chicago but numbers are rising, according to a Friday news release from the city’s Department of Public Health. Still, about 15 percent of eligible Chicagoans have gotten their updated vaccine and public health officials are urging eligible Chicagoans to get the updated vaccine or the bivalent booster.
