Chicago Announcements October 26, 2022

The Jewish Council on Urban Affairs (JCUA) on Tuesday launched a new political affiliate called JCUA Votes, which is expected to “extend JCUA’s work into electoral politics, where it will work to elect progressive leaders across the city and state,” according to a news release. “The Jewish community in Chicago is ready to bring a powerful progressive voice to our local elections,” Anna Rubin, political director, said in the news release. “We’ve built a dedicated base of volunteers and deep relationships across Chicago’s organizing community. Now, we’re thrilled to add electoral organizing as a tool to create transformative change.”
