Aldermen including Ald. Howard Brookins (21), who chairs the City Council’s Committee on Transportation and Public War, are scheduled to join representatives from scooter companies Spin, Lime and Bird at a rally outside City Hall at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday supporting an ordinance proposed by Brookins that would establish a permanent e-scooter program in Chicago. Ald. Walter Burnett (27), Ald. Daniel La Spata (1), Ald. Matt Martin (47) and Ald. Emma Mitts (37) are also scheduled to attend the rally.
