The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition is hosting its first ever reception for the Illinois Clean Energy Champion Awards Oct. 25. The program aims to “celebrate job creation by private companies, nonprofit organizations, and government units from across Illinois that have seized the chance to make our state a leader in the clean energy future,” according to a news release from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. Nominations are due by Oct. 5, and registration to attend the event is available online.
