The Chicago Department of Housing has closed its fourth round of Emergency Rental Assistance Program funds, the department announced Monday. The last round of the program, dubbed ERAP2, included $102 million from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and provided up to 18 months of rental assistance and utility payment assistance for impacted renters, officials said.
