Chicago Announcements May 26, 2023

Chicago Department of Planning and Development Comm. Maurice Cox this week was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Letters for his lifetime of achievements in architecture, according to a news release from the city. Founded in 1898, the American Academy of Arts and Letters is an honor society for the country’s architects, artists, composers and writers. Cox was honored for his "merging architecture, design and politics through multiple public, private and elected positions," according to the news release.
