Sen. Jacqueline Collins (D-Chicago) and Fr. Michael Pfleger will host a screening of the documentary film “Chicago at the Crossroad” at 5:45 p.m. Monday with sociologist Carol Adams at Cinema Chatham. The film “chronicles the root causes of violence in Chicago and opens a rare historical window in the systematic creation of poverty-stricken communities plagued by decades of disinvestment.
