The Chicago Loop Alliance on Thursday announced this year's dates for the Sundays on State events set to take place on July 16 and Aug. 13. During the two summer events, State Street between Lake Street and Adams Street in the Loop will be closed to vehicle traffic from 5 a.m. to midnight. Attendees will be invited to the "interactive block party in the heart of the city" to enjoy recreation, art, culture, food and local attractions, according to the Chicago Loop Alliance's news release.
