Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Tuesday announced her appointment of Michelle Mills Clement, who is CEO of the Chicago Association of Realtors, to the Board of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority.  

Teamsters Local 777 will hold a “solidarity rally” outside the Zen Leaf dispensary at 1301 S. Western Ave. in Pilsen at 2 p.m. Wednesday to “show their support for workers at the dispensary who have filed for an election to form a union,” union leaders said in an announcement. The rally comes “after the company fired two workers involved with organizing a union at the dispensary without explanation last Thursday,” union leaders said.
