Chicago's Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) is accepting applications for its Community Advisory Council. The advisory council "serves as a communication conduit between the broader Chicago community and COPA in order to assist the agency in creating and maintaining an effective and transparent dialog with the residents we serve," according to COPA's website. Those interested can find additional information and the application online. The deadline to apply is June 30.
