Chicago Announcements July 25, 2022

The Chicago Department of Public Health was expecting on Friday to receive delivery of 15,440 monkeypox vaccine doses from the federal government and 2,600 from the state of Illinois’ allocation over the weekend, according to an announcement. The city had previously only received 5,400 total doses. As of Friday, 230 people had been reported positive for monkeypox in Illinois, including 202 in Chicago.
