Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Wednesday announced the opening of the “Community Marketplace” on the Chicago Riverwalk, which is designed to “allow small, minority- and women-owned neighborhood businesses the opportunity to get exposure to the high number of Riverwalk visitors and inspire visits to neighborhood locations,” according to an announcement. Vendors include ChiBoys, Chiya Chai, Colores Mexicanos, Feed Your Head, Freddies and Neighborly.
