Cook County Judge Moshe Jacobius will retire on Sunday after more than 30 years on the bench and 11 years as presiding judge of the Chancery Division of the county court system, Cook County Chief Judge Timothy Evans announced on Thursday.  

Ald. Andre Vasquez (40) and Ald. Matt Martin (47) will cohost a virtual event at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 28 with the University of Chicago UrbanLabs researchers titled “Facts and Trends: Crime in Chicago.” Online registration is required.
