Chicago has joined the National Building Performance Standard Coalition, an initiative launched by the White House Council on Environmental Quality, city officials announced Friday. Joining the coalition means that the city has “committed to inclusively design and implement building performance standards and complementary policies and programs across the city,” according to the announcement.
