Officials in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Sustainability Office will host a pair of virtual town hall meetings at 6 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Saturday to give input on Chicago’s Climate Action Plan. The plan “will include strategies to address climate change while also improving air quality and health, increasing household savings, expanding green space and increasing green jobs here in the City of Chicago,” according to the announcement. Members of the public are invited to “share what environmental and community priorities [they] would like to see addressed.” Online registration is required for the Wednesday event and the Saturday event.
