Ald. Andre Vasquez (40) and Ald. Matt Martin (47) will host a virtual event at 6:30 p.m. Monday titled “Facts and Trends: Crime in Chicago” with researchers from the University of Chicago Crime Lab. They will “discuss which crimes are up and by how much, and how Chicago's crime rates compare to our peer cities.” Online registration is required.  

Chicago Teachers Union will join the group Parents, Educators and Clergy for Education at 5:30 p.m. at the CTU Center for “Jammin' for P.E.A.C.E.,” an evening of “spoken word, live comedy and a performance by the band Soulful Exposure.” RSVP is required.
