Andre B. Ashmore, Jr. has begun working as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, he announced on LinkedIn. He was previously Civil Service Coordinator for the Village of Tinley Park. 

The Chicagoland Apartment Association on Friday named Valerie Fertitta as its new board president. Feritta is Managing Director of Real Estate for Greystar Property Management Services.
