The Chicago Department of Human Resources reported on Monday that about 94.7 percent of city employees had complied with the city’s vaccination policy, about 81.5 percent of whom are fully vaccinated. About 89.3 percent of Chicago Police Department employees, more than 99 percent of Fire Department employees and 84.2 percent of City Council employees were in compliance with the policy. 

The Metropolitan Planning Council will host a virtual event at noon on Dec. 16 called “Past, Present and Future: the MPC legacy.” The event will include a panel of Metropolitan Planning Council leaders and feature Melissa Washington, ComEd’s vice president for governmental and external affairs, as its keynote speaker. Online registration is required.
