Tuesday marks the first day to begin circulating nominating petitions for Chicago’s 2023 municipal election. Chicagoans next year will elect the positions of mayor, city clerk, treasurer, all 50 aldermen and police district councils. Candidates can file their petitions between Nov. 21 and Nov. 28.
