The Chicago Department of Transportation on Monday began installing concrete curb protections along the Kinzie Street bike lane east of Des Plaines Street.  The concrete curbs are part of a citywide initiative to convert all the city's existing protected bike lanes to concrete curb-protected bike lanes by the end of 2023.
