Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that Beth Beatty will serve as her new Deputy Mayor of Intergovernmental Affairs beginning Sept. 6. Beaty will replace Manuel Perez who has served in the role since September 2020. Beaty previously served as Managing Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and Deputy Director of Financial Policy in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
