Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) Comm. Gia Biagi and Ald. Daniel La Spata (1) on Wednesday heralded the completion of new protected bike lanes, redesigned intersections and shorter pedestrian crossing distances on Augusta Boulevard between Western Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, according to a news release from CDOT. The improvements also include the lowering of the speed limit to 20 miles per hour along the more than one mile stretch of Augusta Boulevard.
