The Chicago Community Land Trust, a city-chartered nonprofit organization that collects homes and sets them aside to sell to income-restricted buyers, has rebranded as the Chicago Housing Trust. The trust launched a new website, where potential buyers can apply to participate.  

Cook County and the University of Chicago’s Office of Civic Engagement released a third collection of free educational videos in their joint Open Lectures for Residents series. It includes “ten videos in the Voices in Action series by environmental activists, public health executives, UChicago graduate students, educational advocates, and other civic leaders that will be released one per week for ten weeks.” The courses will be available on the University of Chicago’s civic engagement website and linked from the County’s website.
