- The Cook County Democratic Party is scheduled to host a forum June 5 with the candidates planning to run for Illinois Secretary of State in the 2022 election. The virtual forum will be moderated by Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, who also chairs the party organization. The event is set to run from 10 a.m. to noon.
