• Roughly 50-70 people showed up Monday night at North Grand High School for the City Council’s final community hearing on police reform. A majority of public testifiers called for the creation of CPAC, a Civilian Police Accountability Council, and for Ald. Ed Burke (14) to rescind his Blue Lives Matter inspired ordinance, which would make attacking a police officer a hate crime.

Attendance: Chair John Arena (45), Rick Munoz (22), Ariel Reboyras (30), Milly Santiago (31), Gilbert Villegas (36)
