    10 companies get the nod to operate scooters beginning this weekend

    Ten companies got the nod for a four-month scooter pilot on the city’s West Side to “test the viability of scooters as a mobility option in Chicago in an equitable, safe and responsible manner,” city officials announced Tuesday.
