What happened to Pritzger’s campaign promise?

Pritzger campaigned on the promise to veto any legislation that continued to have the candidates select the voter, rather than the voters selecting the candidates. This was an empty promise that he backed out of. Why didn’t he veto the legislation as he promised?

If Pritzger doesn’t hold up to his promise and didn’t veto legislation that continues the process of the legislators drawing the maps for their own election I will not vote for him again, and I will actively support the campaign of anyone who runs against him, from either political party. Enough is enough. Politicians need to hold up to their campaign promises.

Keep this in mind for the next election.
