    Installations of water meters to remain halted as officials search for solution to high lead levels

    More than two months after Mayor Lori Lightfoot halted the installation of water meters in Chicago homes after city officials found elevated levels of lead in more than one in five metered homes they tested, officials have yet to find a solution.
