The City Council Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards on Wednesday will convene for the first time in nearly three months after Ald. Gilbert Villegas (36) became the zoning chair in April, ending a monthslong pause in business.

The committee now must catch up on scores of items that have piled up, and Villegas has said items introduced in April will be saved for a second meeting on May 19. The committee will meet at 10 a.m. in council chambers.
