The city's Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection will host a webinar at 3 p.m. June 14 with a presentation from Miguel Campos, assistant director for the Office of Labor Standards, on Chicago's minimum wage increase set to take place July 1. The city is encouraging workers and employers to attend the webinar for an overview of the city's Minimum Wage Ordinance. Discussion topics are set to include eligibility, the annual increase, overtime wages and tipped wages. There will also be an overview of the Fair Workweek Ordinance changes with time for questions at the end of the webinar. Those interested can find more details and registration online.
